Atopic dermatitis – adult therapy

Symptoms connect us to significant events in the family which we are unaware of, show incidents that have been erased from the family’s awareness, and also help us realise how both families create symptoms in children.
The conclusion from the workshop “Why do children fall ill and what heals them?” is that the existing symptoms in children both obscure and indicate what the parents fail to see in themselves.
The constellations show what is happening in the client’s soul. Sometimes, if it were not for the symptom which restricts action, one’s internal destructive impulses could be difficult to manage.

Working with a client aged 27.8 and suffering from atopic dermatitis.

The client’s genogram and lifeline are prepared. The client has suffered from dermal lesions since the age of one. The dermal lesions would remit and recur over the years. The itching symptom deteriorated when the client broke off with his girlfriend, with whom he had moved in together. When the client became successful in his career, he left his girlfriend. He then lived in a string of random places, some of which did not have the necessary sanitary facilities and were dirty.
The dermal lesions are present on the client’s entire body, despite the fact that the client takes a bath 2-3 times a day, and uses various ointments and powders.
Skin the organism’s external memory. It is composed of 3 types of tissue. Each type of tissue is associated with a different type of conflict.
A) Epidermis reflects the conflict of separation with people who are important to us. In the active phase of the conflict (during the separation), the epidermal cells produce micro-ulcerations to increase their size (and symbolically “reach the object”). In the repair phase of the conflict (the separation from the mother or another important person has ended), the micro-ulcerations are healed.
B) Dermis reflects conflicts related to tainting and violation of integrity. When we are in danger, such as when a lion is about to chew off our arm, we prefer to lose the arm to save our life. Aggression destroyed part of me. I need to create an armour to protect myself. My skin must be hardened and resistant to attacks at all costs. In the active phase of the conflict, the cells proliferate, while in the repair phase, the tumour undergoes caseation or a cyst forms.
C) Subcutaneous tissue is responsive to the conflicts based on low self-esteem related to appearance. In the active phase of the conflict, micro-ulcerations of the subcutaneous tissue form, and are healed in the repair phase.

1) The therapist checks which conflicts (skin layers) make up the program of the client’s atopic dermatitis. The representatives of the epidermis, the dermis and the subcutaneous tissue form a rank and watch the atopic dermatitis representative, but remain slightly away from the Atopic Dermatitis representative.
2) The therapist adds a representative of what is written in the client’s endodermal tissue. The workshop participants do not know who the constellation addition is. The representative of the endodermal tissue quickly lays in the place of Atopic Dermatitis, as if conceiving the client.
Conclusions: the key factor of Atopic Dermatitis is the information written in the client’s endodermal tissue. The conflicts of the endodermal tissue are related to survival. The Endodermal Skin Representative says that it is about what happened 2 weeks before the conception and in the 2nd month of life of the client.
The client says his parents planned the wedding earlier, but when his mother found out she was pregnant, she moved the wedding three months ahead. The wedding was planned for March or April, but it was moved to January. The reason for a quicker wedding was “to avoid shame”.
3) Working with the women line in the mother’s family. The grandmother’s mother did not like her daughter; she would say that “a pretty face is not everything”.
The great-grandmother’s representative is very jealous of the grandmother when the latter is pregnant with the client’s mother. The mother’s jealousy of her daughters is the problem. The great-grandmother, the grandmother and the mother cannot connect. This phase of constellation work takes place on the level of the family’s soul.
4) Working on connecting the Mother with her Father. The Mother’s Father was raised in an orphanage. He searched for his mother his entire life and whenever he managed to track her down, his mother would move and disappear again.
5) Connecting the client with his mother. After giving birth to a boy by C-section, the mother quickly returns to work. The boy, who remains in the hospital, is taken care of by his father.
6) Working on the conflict of separation from the father in the first year of the boy’s life. In the first year of the boy’s life, his father went to work abroad.
